Drew Linsley
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Drew Linsley is a Paul J Salem scholar in Computation in Brain and Mind Postdoctoral Research Associate. He received a PhD in cognitive neuroscience from Boston College in 2016, and a BA from Hamilton College before that. His research explores visual intelligence, moving beyond recognition of the elements in our surroundings and towards an understanding of their spatial and conceptual relationships -- for instance, estimating the direction and density of traffic when crossing the street. This involves developing a basic understanding of visual intelligence through computational modeling and neuroscientific studies at multiple scales of measurement.
